01 — Inside finish
Where craftsmanship shows
Structure is hidden and services are buried, but trims, linings and stairs are looked at every day from a metre away. That is where scribing, mitres and consistent reveals either read as considered or as rushed.
We match profiles to the era of the house, line ceilings and walls in timber or plasterboard, build and install staircases and balustrades, and make storage fit the space you actually have.
What's included
- VJ linings, plasterboard, cornices and timber ceilings
- Staircases, treads, balustrades and handrails
- Doors, architraves, skirtings and window trims
- Built-in wardrobes, shelving and custom joinery
- Patching and making good after structural work
- Feature walls, panelling and battened screens
02 — How we do it
The parts that matter
Period-matched
Profiles, bead spacing and reveals chosen to match what is already in the house rather than the nearest stock item.
Set-out care
Linings and battens laid out so joints and cuts land where they are least visible.
Stairs done right
Rise, going and balustrade spacing built to code and comfortable to use, not just compliant.
Paint-ready
Handed over filled, sanded and ready for the painter — no surprises at the finish line.
03 — Recent work
On the job
Can you match old VJ or bead profiles?
In most cases yes — either with a current profile that matches closely or by sourcing a match. We check against your existing linings before ordering.
Do you build staircases on site?
We install manufactured stairs and build on site depending on the design, the opening and the timber. Both are quoted with the balustrade included.
Do you paint as well?
We hand over paint-ready and can coordinate a painter as part of the job if you would rather not manage that trade yourself.
